Join us Saturday, August 24th for a recycling and waste education opportunity! Our friends from Grey Bears will be sharing their mission and collecting goods being dropped off for recycling. Come and freely drop off styrofoam, cardboard, electronics and small metal appliances.

Their food rescue, gleaning and fresh produce distribution programs serve 4,000 seniors, delivering the equivalent of two million meals each year. Grey Bears reuse, thrift and recycling operations divert 7,000 tons of materials - including Styrofoam - from local landfills. Volunteer opportunities abound. More than 900 amazing volunteers donate 80,000 hours of service to Grey Bears each year, helping connect and sustain our community and environment.
